I have always been praised for having a good memory, but having a good memory isn’t always great. You remember details - the good and the bad. You hold on to those feelings - the love and the hate. You remember the things people say to you - the things that gave you butterflies and the things that made you cry.
Having a good memory makes it all too easy to remain bitter about things that most people forget about.
